Location

• Opportunities in Tucson, Phoenix, Glendale, and Mesa, Arizona
• Supports a Level II Trauma Center

Schedule

• 183 24-hour shifts annually
• Blocked scheduling with 7-day stretches
• Built-in recovery time between rotations

Clinical Scope

• Operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
• Broad range of fracture care and orthopedic injury management
• Collaboration with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalists, and rehabilitation teams
• Balance of surgical cases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic responsibilities
• Participation in trauma call coverage
• Timely documentation and adherence to quality and patient-centered care standards

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship preferred
• Experience managing orthopedic trauma in a hospital setting
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
