Key Responsibilities:

• Provide post-anesthesia care for adult and/or pediatric patients recovering from surgery
• Monitor vital signs, airway, pain, and level of consciousness; implement interventions as indicated
• Administer medications and IV therapy per orders and facility protocols
• Perform accurate patient assessments, handoffs, and documentation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team to ensure safe discharge to floor, step-down, or home

Minimum Requirements:

• Current RN license (state of practice or compact as required)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Credentials and Documentation:

• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Current CPR/BLS and ACLS cards
• Valid RN license and any state-specific requirements

Work Conditions:

• Fast-paced PACU environment; required to stand and move frequently
• Shift work during daytime hours; weekend coverage as scheduled
