- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided by agency/vendor
Patient & Facility
- Average volume: 23 patients/day (just over 30,000/year)
- ED beds: 22
- Trauma level: III
- EMR: Epic
- Specialty backup: Most specialties available; tele-stroke and 24/7 cardiac cath lab
Privileges & Compliance
- Temporary hospital privileges available; permanent hospital privileges not required
Requirements
- ABEM certification
- Active WA license or IMLC participation
- DEA registration
- Fellowship preferred
- Proficiency with Epic
- Clean professional record highly preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care for all ages
- Perform initial assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Manage acute emergencies (trauma, cardiac events, etc.)
- Coordinate care with nursing and specialty services
- Accurately document encounters in Epic
