Job Description
Locum Vascular Surgery NP/PA needed for inpatient hospital coverage in Toledo, OH. Weekday schedule, no call or weekends, working with a multidisciplinary vascular surgery team across multiple hospital sites.
Assignment details
- Dates: July 13, 2026 – November 13, 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Coverage: 4–5 days/week
- Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based across multiple facilities
- Call/Weekends: None
- EMR: Epic
- Patient volume: ~12–15 patients/day
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage inpatient vascular surgery patients
- Perform daily rounds; provide preoperative and postoperative care
- Manage consultations, admissions, discharges, and care coordination
- Collaborate with vascular surgeons, hospitalists, nursing, and ancillary services
- Monitor clinical progress and adjust treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic
Requirements
- Board-certified NP or PA
- Active Ohio NP or PA license
- Current BLS and ACLS
- Active DEA registration
- Vascular surgery or surgical inpatient experience preferred
- Local candidates strongly preferred
