Regional Medical Director — NYC Treatment Centers (Family/Internal Medicine)

We’re looking for an experienced, licensed physician to join our team as a hands-on leader who balances clinical work with team development. You’ll spend part of your time providing direct patient care and the rest mentoring clinicians, strengthening clinical programs, and guiding medical operations across our Bronx and NYC treatment centers.

Compensation: $275,000–$315,000 plus bonuses and a full benefits package.

What you’ll do

• Provide high-quality patient care as needed to support clinical operations.
• Visit sites 3–4 days per week to mentor and develop clinical staff and foster best practices.
• Oversee medical operations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and clinical standards.
• Collaborate closely with administrative and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care and clinic workflows.
• Design and implement training programs that enhance clinical skills and patient outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical practices as part of ongoing quality assurance efforts.
• Implement utilization management and value-based care strategies to improve care delivery and cost effectiveness.
• Support strategic growth and integration of primary care and clinical programs, including provider recruitment, onboarding, and practice development.

Who you are

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
• Licensed to practice in New York with an active DEA, Medicare Provider ID, and Medicaid Provider ID.
• Experienced in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably overseeing multiple providers, sites, or interdisciplinary teams.
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to mentoring and developing staff.
