Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, board-certified physician to serve as our Regional Medical Director for Queens and the greater NYC area. This role balances hands-on patient care with leadership and team development—ideal for a clinician who enjoys mentoring staff, improving clinical operations, and helping grow integrated primary care services across multiple sites.

Compensation: $275,000–$315,000 plus bonuses and a full benefits package.

What you’ll do

  • Provide high-quality clinical care as needed to support operations and maintain clinical credibility with staff.
  • Visit sites 3–4 days per week to mentor, coach, and develop clinical teams.
  • Oversee medical operations across multiple treatment centers, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with administrative and interdisciplinary teams to streamline clinic workflows, improve patient care, and resolve operational challenges.
  • Design and implement training programs to build clinical skills and promote best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical quality and outcomes; lead quality assurance initiatives to uphold high standards of care.
  • Implement utilization management and value-based care strategies to optimize patient management and resource use.
  • Support strategic growth and integration of primary care practices and clinical programs, including provider recruitment, onboarding, practice development, and clinical expansion efforts.

Who you are

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
  • Licensed to practice in New York with active DEA, Medicare Provider ID, and Medicaid Provider ID.
  • Experienced leader with a track record of supervising multiple providers, sites, or interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to mentoring and developing clinical staff.
  • Familiarity with value-based care, utilization management, and clinical quality improvement preferred.
