Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced, licensed physician to join our team as a hands‑on leader who balances clinical care with team development. In this role you’ll spend part of your time providing high‑quality patient care and the rest mentoring clinicians, shaping clinical operations, and helping grow primary care services across Brooklyn and the broader NYC area.
Compensation: $275,000–$315,000 + bonuses and a full benefits package
What you’ll do
- Provide clinical care as needed to support patient services and maintain clinical credibility with the team.
- Visit sites 3–4 days per week to mentor clinicians, build clinical skills, and strengthen team performance.
- Oversee medical operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Partner with administrative and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and streamline clinic workflows.
- Design and implement training programs that elevate clinical skills and patient care across sites.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical practices and quality metrics to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Lead utilization management and value‑based care initiatives to optimize resource use and patient outcomes.
- Support strategic growth by helping integrate primary care practices and clinical programs, participating in provider recruitment, onboarding, practice development, and clinical expansion.
What we’re looking for
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a closely related specialty.
- Active New York medical license, DEA registration, Medicare Provider ID, and Medicaid Provider ID.
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, ideally overseeing multiple providers, sites, or interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills, with a clear commitment to mentoring and developing clinical staff.
If you enjoy a mix of direct patient care and leadership—helping clinicians grow while driving clinical quality and program expansion—this role is a great fit.
