Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Fellowship-Trained, Pelvic/Acetabular Expert | Tucson, AZ

Key responsibilities

• Provide Orthopedic Trauma and Acute Care Surgery coverage, including trauma call and ACS support
• Evaluate and surgically manage complex, high‑acuity musculoskeletal injuries
• Deliver comprehensive perioperative and post‑operative care, including outpatient follow‑up
• Participate in multidisciplinary trauma care with nursing, APPs, and hospital teams to optimize outcomes
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and contribute to program quality initiatives

Clinical focus and schedule

• High-volume orthopedic trauma practice with emphasis on pelvic and acetabular fracture management
• Work alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma partner with APP support for enhanced workflow
• Balanced schedule with dedicated OR time and clinic sessions
• 183 24‑hour shifts per year arranged as structured seven‑day stretches with built‑in recovery time

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship
• Demonstrated experience in high‑acuity trauma care, with strong expertise in pelvic and acetabular fractures
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient‑centered, evidence‑based care
