Job Description
Well-established outpatient practice in New York seeks a locum-to-perm Board-Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric physician to care for a predominantly geriatric population. This is a full-time outpatient role with a predictable weekday schedule and no inpatient responsibilities.
Locations
- Bronx and Brooklyn, NY
Compensation & Schedule
- $150 per hour
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Temp-to-perm (expected conversion within 3–6 months)
- Expedited credentialing available
Clinical Setting & Responsibilities
- Outpatient only; value-based care model
- Primarily geriatric patients, practice expanding to Internal Medicine (18+)
- Typical daily census: 7–10 patients
- No inpatient coverage required
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative team environment
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Active NY medical license or eligibility
- Medicare and Medicaid Provider IDs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
- Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged to apply
