Spanish-Speaking Geriatric/Family/Internal Medicine Physician — Locums-to-Perm, Bronx (FT)

Join a well-established outpatient practice in The Bronx caring mainly for older adults. We’re looking for a compassionate, board-certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric physician for a locum-to-perm role (transition expected within 3–6 months). If you enjoy team-based, patient-centered care and want a predictable weekday schedule with no inpatient duties, this could be a great fit.

What the role looks like

• Full-time locum-to-perm position with expedited credentialing
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM — no nights, no weekends
• Outpatient-only: no inpatient responsibilities
• Care model: value-based, collaborative primary care
• Patient population: primarily geriatric patients, with some adults 18+
• Typical panel: a manageable census of about 7–10 patients per day
• Spanish-speaking clinicians preferred

Compensation and logistics

• Competitive pay: $150+ per hour
• Temp-to-perm transition expected within 3–6 months
• Must have or be eligible for an active New York State medical license
• Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment required

Who we’re looking for

• MD or DO, board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
• Spanish language skills are a plus and highly preferred
