Locum tenens opportunity in Hudson, FL — Emergency Medicine Physician

Location

• Hudson, Pasco County, Florida (Gulf Coast community ~45 minutes north of Tampa)

Scope of practice

• Provide emergency department care across a range of acute conditions.
• Perform patient assessments: histories, physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Initiate and manage treatment plans, including medication administration, procedural interventions, and minor surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with ED staff and consultants to ensure continuity of care.

Schedule and setting

• Locum tenens assignment with flexible scheduling across emergency settings (shifts as needed).

Minimum qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active Florida medical license.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.

Credentials and documentation

• Ability to complete facility credentialing and privileging requirements in a timely manner.
