Job Description
Join our team as a locum tenens Emergency Medicine physician in Sarasota, FL, and enjoy a flexible role delivering high-quality acute care across diverse emergency settings. You’ll evaluate patients with a wide range of urgent conditions—taking histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and creating practical treatment plans. Typical responsibilities include medication management, performing minor procedures, coordinating with consultants, and providing timely disposition and follow-up plans.
We’re looking for clinicians who thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate clearly with patients and staff, and adapt smoothly to different clinical workflows. This position offers the chance to work with a supportive team while gaining exposure to varied patient populations and emergency department settings.
Basic requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Active Florida medical license
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
