Spanish-Speaking Locums-to-Perm Geriatric/Internal Medicine Physician — Outpatient Brooklyn, NY

Join a well-established outpatient practice in Brooklyn, NY serving a primarily geriatric population as a full-time locum-to-perm physician (conversion expected within 3–6 months). This role focuses on value-based, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting with a predictable weekday schedule and no inpatient, night, or weekend duties.

Key details

• Compensation: $150+ per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient only (no inpatient responsibilities)
• Patient population: Primarily older adults; practice expanding to include Internal Medicine patients (18+)
• Patient volume: Manageable census of 7–10 patients per day
• Contract: Temporary-to-permanent transition within 3–6 months with expedited credentialing
• Language: Spanish proficiency preferred

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
• Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment (or ability to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality, team-based, patient-centered care
