Join a busy rehabilitation team in Waterville, ME as a contract, non-travel Physical Therapy Assistant. This position starts August 10, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. You’ll work a weekday schedule (Mon–Fri).

What we’re looking for

• A current, active state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

What you’ll do

• Work alongside the Physical Therapist to help evaluate patients and carry out prescribed treatments and exercise plans.
• Set up and administer therapeutic modalities and equipment to support each patient’s recovery.
• Teach and coach patients through their exercise programs and provide clear home program instructions for patients and families.
• Keep thorough, accurate patient records and communicate regularly with the PT and the rest of the healthcare team.
• Follow established safety and infection-control procedures to protect patients and staff.
