Job Description

Join a team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care across skilled nursing facilities in Dowagiac, Michigan. In this full-time role you’ll provide clinical leadership and attendingship while working alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage post-acute and long-term care patients. The practice values collaboration and offers a schedule designed to support work-life balance and meaningful patient relationships.

What the role looks like day-to-day

  • Cover local skilled nursing facilities, typically 1–2 days per week at each site
  • Manage roughly 18–25 visits per day, focusing on thorough, efficient care
  • Provide clinical oversight and leadership within your assigned facilities while collaborating closely with NPs and PAs
  • No overnight shifts, no on-call responsibilities, and no set daily start/end times—schedule flexibility to fit your life
  • Company-provided iPad with LTE for streamlined documentation and communication

Where you could work

  • Primary opportunity in Dowagiac, Michigan
  • Additional facility opportunities available in Howell and Traverse City, MI, and other sites in Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, and Wisconsin

Compensation and benefits

Who we’re looking for

  • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
  • A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care; new graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply
