Medical Director / Attending Physician — Full-Time Hospitalist in Traverse City (Flexible Schedule, No Nights/Call)

We are hiring a Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide clinical leadership and deliver direct patient care across skilled nursing facilities in Traverse City, Michigan.

Scope of practice

• Provide attending-level care for post-acute and long-term care patients in local skilled nursing facilities.
• Partner with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage panels, oversee care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Typical coverage: 1–2 days per week at each facility; 18–25 patient visits per day.
• No overnight shifts, no call responsibilities, and no fixed start/end times.

Locations

• Primary: Traverse City, MI.
• Additional facility opportunities: Escanaba and Howell, MI; also openings in KS, MO, NC, and WI.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligible for licensure.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
