Board-Certified/Eligible Neurosurgeon — Inpatient & Emergency Coverage (Grand Forks, ND)

Join a high-quality regional neurosurgical program in Grand Forks, North Dakota, as a full-time Neurosurgeon providing focused inpatient and emergency coverage. This role emphasizes comprehensive, patient-centered care delivered in close collaboration with emergency medicine, trauma services, hospital leadership, and multidisciplinary teams.

Position details

• Full-time employed role
• 183 24-hour shifts per year (flexible scheduling)
• Continuous 24-hour call coverage; shifts prorated for partial calendar years
• No administrative duties; clinical focus on inpatient and emergency neurosurgery

Clinical responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage emergent neurosurgical cases and trauma patients
• Provide inpatient neurosurgical consultation, treatment planning, and ongoing care coordination
• Collaborate with Emergency Medicine, Trauma Services, hospital leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered neurosurgical services

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Eligible for North Dakota medical licensure
