Locums Neurosurgeon — Inpatient & Emergency Coverage (Grand Forks, ND)

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon for locums coverage in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This role provides inpatient and emergency neurosurgical coverage supporting a regional neurosurgical program in collaboration with Emergency Medicine, Trauma Services, hospital leadership, and multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule

• Locums assignment: 183 24-hour shifts per year
• Continuous 24-hour call coverage
• Flexible block scheduling available
• Shift requirements may be prorated for partial calendar years
• No administrative responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage emergent neurosurgical cases
• Provide inpatient neurosurgical consultations and ongoing management of hospitalized patients
• Deliver emergency and trauma-related neurosurgical care
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide timely consultation and surgical recommendations for urgent and emergent cases

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Eligible for or holding North Dakota medical license
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges

Compensation & Benefits

• Above-market hourly rate per 24-hour shift
