Remote PMHNP Residency Program Director (Psychiatry)

Join a clinician-founded, clinician-led organization delivering virtual and in-person mental health care across Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, and Maryland. We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to design, launch, and oversee our PMHNP Residency Program, with an emphasis on pediatric and adolescent psychiatry and a commitment to high-quality clinical education and trainee development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the PMHNP Residency Program, including curriculum development and accreditation compliance.
• Mentor, supervise, and evaluate residents; provide regular feedback and performance assessments.
• Deliver clinical education with a focus on pediatric and adolescent psychiatry and evidence-based practice.
• Recruit, onboard, and support clinical preceptors and faculty; foster strong preceptor–resident relationships.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary outpatient care teams to integrate training and clinical workflows.
• Maintain accurate program documentation and ensure adherence to residency accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Lead continuous program improvement and support professional development opportunities for residents and faculty.

Required qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• Active PMHNP/APRN license in PA, VA, NJ, or MD; ability to obtain additional state licensure as needed.
• Minimum 3 years of PMHNP/CRNP clinical experience, plus at least 1 year in an educational, supervisory, or leadership role.
• Strong pediatric/adolescent psychiatry background and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of behavioral health regulations and residency accreditation standards.
