Medical Director / Attending Physician — Hospitalist (Skilled Nursing Facilities) — Wyoming, MI

We’re looking for a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to join our team and lead clinical care at skilled nursing facilities around Wyoming, Michigan. This full-time role lets you focus on delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care in a collaborative setting alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, while providing clinical leadership and oversight in assigned facilities.

What you’ll do

• Serve as the attending physician for post-acute and long-term care patients, partnering with mid-level providers to coordinate care plans and transitions.
• Provide on-site clinical leadership and oversight at assigned skilled nursing facilities.
• Manage a daily patient caseload (typically 18–25 visits) with an emphasis on quality, communication, and continuity of care.
• Make independent clinical decisions and communicate effectively with families, staff, and the broader care team.

Schedule & workload

• Full-time position with flexible scheduling—physicians usually cover each facility 1–2 days per week.
• No fixed start or end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities.

Who we’re looking for

• MD or DO with an unrestricted U.S. medical license, or eligibility for licensure.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
• Strong communicator with solid leadership skills and clinical judgment.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
