Regional Medical Director, Primary Care - Hybrid Leadership Role (Boston) $270-320K+

We’re looking for an experienced, Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to serve as Regional Medical Director, overseeing several outpatient primary care sites in and around Boston, MA. This is a hybrid corporate/clinical role: you’ll spend roughly three days a week on administrative and strategic priorities and one to two days a week providing patient care at a local clinic.

What you’ll do:

• Lead clinical operations across multiple primary care sites, driving quality, consistency, and performance.
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement value-based care initiatives and practice improvement strategies.
• Mentor and support clinical teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
• Maintain a part-time clinical panel to stay connected to frontline care and inform operational decisions.

Compensation & benefits:

• Base range $270,000-$320,000+ depending on incentives

Required (non-negotiable):

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Primary care clinical experience
• Experience and demonstrated success in value-based care models
• Prior clinical leadership experience

Preferred:

• Experience with startups or early-stage healthcare organizations
• At-home (telehealth) care experience
• Geriatrics experience
• Spanish language proficiency
