Lead Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Site Clinical Lead)

We’re hiring a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Bangor, ME team as the site’s Lead Provider. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced APP who loves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and who enjoys mentoring and supporting clinical staff in a busy urgent care setting.

What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive urgent care for patients of all ages, managing a wide range of acute presentations.
• Serve as the clinical leader on site - supporting clinical workflows, promoting patient safety, and ensuring high standards of care.
• Mentor and precept new graduate NPs/PAs and other allied health professionals, helping them build confidence and clinical competence.
• Champion evidence-based practice and maintain compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a collaborative, efficient team culture focused on excellent patient outcomes.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification from a recognized NP or PA certifying body.
• Active Maine license or eligibility for Maine licensure.
• Unrestricted DEA registration (must be maintained).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus.
