Lead Urgent Care NP/PA - Clinical Lead Role in Augusta, ME with Mentorship, $80-$85/hr

Join our team in Augusta, ME as a full-time clinician and on-site clinical leader in a busy urgent care setting. This role is ideal for an experienced NP or PA who enjoys hands-on patient care and also wants to mentor and guide clinical staff. You’ll help shape a collaborative, high-quality care environment where safety, efficiency, and excellent patient outcomes come first.

What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages.
• Serve as the clinical leader for on-site staff, promoting evidence-based practice and maintaining high clinical standards.
• Mentor and support new graduate NPs/PAs and allied health professionals; function as a preceptor and resource.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, clinical, and safety protocols.
• Contribute to a team culture focused on continuous improvement and excellent patient experience.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Certification from a recognized NP or PA certifying body.
• Active Maine license or eligibility for licensure and an unrestricted DEA registration.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus.
