Lead Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Site Clinical Lead) - Waterville, ME

We are hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to serve as Lead Provider at our Urgent Care in Waterville, ME. This role combines clinical care with onsite leadership, mentoring, and quality oversight in a high-volume urgent care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages.
• Act as clinical leader for onsite clinical staff, promoting safety, efficiency, and evidence-based practice.
• Mentor and support new graduate NPs/PAs and other allied health staff; provide precepting as needed.
• Maintain and enforce regulatory, clinical, and quality protocols.
• Assist with clinical workflow optimization and case review to ensure high standards of care.

Required qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Certification from an appropriate NP or PA certifying body.
• Active Maine license or eligibility for Maine licensure.
• Unrestricted DEA registration (must obtain/maintain).
• BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience preferred.

• Hourly pay: $80.00 - $85.00.
