Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad spectrum of emergency conditions
• Manage high-acuity medical and traumatic emergencies and stabilize critically ill/injured patients
• Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
• Coordinate care with specialists, nursing, and ancillary teams to ensure timely, evidence-based treatment
• Accurately document patient encounters in Meditech

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure
• Current DEA registration
• Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (as required)
