Locums CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) - Alpena, MI (Full-Time 3-Month)

We are seeking a full-time Locum CRNA for a three-month assignment in Alpena, MI, with the possibility of extension. The role combines inpatient (30%) and outpatient (70%) anesthesia care and follows a Monday-Friday schedule, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. Due to staffing shortages, off-site call is required: one weeknight per week and one weekend per month. Weeknight call shifts run 3:00 PM-7:00 AM; weekend coverage runs Friday 3:00 PM-Monday 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia services across a broad case mix, including endoscopy, general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, pain management, urology, vascular, and pulmonary procedures.
• Perform neuraxial techniques (spinals, epidurals) and place venous and arterial catheters.
• Nerve block proficiency preferred but not required.
• No cardiac or neurosurgery cases.

Required qualifications:

• Active Michigan CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certification
• Available to start ASAP
