Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician - Hudson, FL (Board Certified/Eligible)

Join a flexible, supportive team providing emergency care on a locum tenens basis in Hudson, FL. You’ll work in fast-paced emergency department settings, treating a wide range of acute conditions and helping keep patient flow moving smoothly. This role is ideal for a hands-on clinician who enjoys variety, autonomy, and collaborating with nurses and consultants to deliver timely, evidence-based care.

Primary responsibilities:

• Perform focused evaluations including history, physical exam, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Stabilize and manage acute medical, surgical, and traumatic presentations.
• Initiate and adjust treatment plans, administer medications, and perform common ED procedures and minor surgical interventions.
• Coordinate care with consultants, admit or discharge patients appropriately, and document thoroughly and promptly.
• Participate in quality improvement, handoffs, and team communication to maintain department efficiency and patient safety.

Required qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active Florida medical license.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
