Locum Tenens Level II Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon - Rapid City, SD

Join our team in Rapid City, SD, and help lead care for patients with complex traumatic musculoskeletal injuries. We’re looking for a full-time Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon who brings focused expertise, sound clinical judgment, and a collaborative approach to a busy trauma practice.

What you’ll do

• Manage acute orthopedic trauma cases across the spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries
• Provide operative and non-operative care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the ongoing development of trauma protocols and quality initiatives
• Participate in patient care continuity, including inpatient care, consults, and trauma call coverage

Compensation

• Competitive daily rate of $4,500-$5,000

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Fellowship training or substantial clinical experience in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active or obtainable South Dakota medical license
