Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
Employment type: Full-time, Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon, department-based clinical position
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and surgical management of traumatic musculoskeletal injuries.
- Participate in operative care, inpatient rounds, outpatient clinics, and on-call trauma coverage as assigned.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for perioperative and rehabilitative care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality improvement and department meetings.
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring of residents/trainees as appropriate.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $488,000.00

Qualifications:
- Medical degree and completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
- Fellowship training or significant experience in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
- Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in South Dakota
