Inpatient Hospitalist Physician (Weekdays Only, No Weekends/Call) - Cape Cod, MA

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician needed for a facility-based inpatient/post-acute care role in Cape Cod, MA. Full-time position with a weekday schedule and no weekend or on-call obligations.

Location

• Primary: Barnstable (Cape Cod), Massachusetts
• Additional opportunities: North Conway, NH; Burlington and St. Albans, VT

Schedule & Practice Setting

• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• No weekends, no call
• Facility-based inpatient/post-acute care (skilled nursing, long-term care)
• Full-time, part-time, and PRN options available
• Travel between assigned facilities as needed

Clinical Scope & Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient/post-acute medical care for medically complex patients
• Manage transitions of care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols
• Participate in patient- and family-centered care planning

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed base compensation range: $200,000-$500,000+
• Typical full-time earnings: $300,000-$500,000 (productivity incentives available)

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or related specialty
• Active, unrestricted state medical license or eligibility for licensure
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Experience in hospital medicine, post-acute care, skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or internal medicine preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, ability to manage complex patients, and effective communication/collaboration skills
