Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their East Florida Division is seeking a Pathology Medical Director to be based at HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL

Qualified Candidates:

• AP/CP Board Certification required
• 2 years of hospital-based Medical Director experience preferred
• Recent experience performing frozen sections
• Recent general surgical pathology and clinical interpretations
• Florida licensed or FCVS in place preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Pathology Volumes/Cases:

·        8,000 cases/year (including surgicals, non-gyn cytologies and bone marrows)

·        This practice includes 3 pathologists and 1 PA
