**APP – General Surgery**
**Location: Oneonta, New York**
• Full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity in General Surgery
• Located in Oneonta, New York
• Join an established General Surgery team consisting of 2 Surgeons and 2 Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants
• Provide OR and inpatient support along with outpatient clinic coverage
• Opportunity to work across multiple locations, including Oneonta, Delhi, Sidney, and Norwich
• Collaborative academic healthcare environment with strong physician and APP support
Schedule & Call
• Monday–Friday coverage
• Rotating first-call responsibilities for inpatient and Emergency Department services
• Rotating weekend call
• Weekend call consists of a 4-hour shift on Saturday and Sunday
• No overnight call required
Clinical Responsibilities
• Outpatient General Surgery clinic coverage
• OR first assist
• Inpatient coverage
• Support inpatient and Emergency Department services
• Collaborate with surgeons and other members of the care team
• Previous surgical experience preferred
• Group-employed model
Compensation
• Salary range: $127,803–$144,035
• Performance-based compensation
• Sign-on bonus up to $50,000
• Competitive salary with additional incentive opportunities
Qualifications
• National certification as a Physician Assistant through NCCPA or Nurse Practitioner
• New York State licensure
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• DEA registration required
• Previous surgical experience preferred
