Full-Time | Surgical Oncology | OR First Assist | New Graduates Welcome
An established General Surgery team in central New York is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support surgical oncology and robotic surgery services.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time General Surgery / Surgical Oncology NP/PA opportunity
- Join an established General Surgery team of 10 surgeons and 6 APCs
- Hands-on surgical role with first-assist responsibilities
- Serve as first assistant to oncologic and robotic surgeons
- Responsibilities may include clinic coverage, inpatient rounding, admissions, and consultations as needed
- Previous surgical experience preferred
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Optional call coverage available
- Large integrated regional network serving an eight-county area across 5,600 square miles
- Strong fit for an APP interested in surgical oncology, robotic surgery, and perioperative care
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: **$135,000 - $155,000**
- Performance-based compensation available
- Sign-on bonus up to **$50,000**
- Optional call stipend: **$20,000 annually**
- Benefits package available

Candidate Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- National Certification as a Physician Assistant through NCCPA, if applicable
- New York NP/PA license or eligibility
- BLS certification required
- DEA required
- Surgical experience preferred
