Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Flexible FT, No Nights/Call, Up to $50K Retention

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing facilities across Amarillo, TX. Work in a collaborative, team-based environment focused on improving the health and quality of life of older adults.

Position details

• Full-time openings with flexible schedules.
• Typical shift length: 6-hour facility shifts; rounds generally start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No call or overnight responsibilities.
• Responsibilities: perform daily rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, develop and prescribe treatment plans and medications, coordinate care with facility staff and families.
• Documentation: streamlined EHR with AI scribe, voice dictation, and company-provided iPad with LTE.
• Clinical resources: access to UpToDate®.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Texas.
• National board certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, AACN, or NCCPA).
• Preferred experience: skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care.
