General Surgeon - Community Hospital in Sonora, CA | $3,000/Shift, Collaborative Team-Based Role

Join a collaborative surgical team in Sonora, CA and practice full-spectrum general surgery in a community-based setting. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary group - physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other staff - to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Compensation: $3,000 per shift

What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients who need surgical care.
• Perform general surgery procedures and oversee preoperative and postoperative care.
• Provide consultations and create individualized treatment plans.
• Care for both inpatient and outpatient surgical patients.
• Respond to surgical emergencies as they arise.
• Maintain thorough, timely medical documentation.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety efforts.

Who we’re looking for

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Eligible for, or able to obtain, a California medical license.
• Current DEA registration or eligible to obtain one.
