Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician - Ongoing PRN Coverage in Texas (Cleveland, Houston, Pasadena, Texas City, Webster)

We are seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for ongoing PRN locum tenens coverage across Texas. Opportunities include hospital-based emergency departments, trauma centers, and freestanding emergency departments with varied patient volumes, acuity, and clinical support. These as-needed assignments have no fixed end date and offer flexible, recurring coverage. Physicians may credential at multiple sites to increase scheduling options.

Available locations: Cleveland, Houston, Pasadena, Texas City, Webster

Position highlights

• Competitive pay starting at $310+/hour, commensurate with ED experience and board status
• 100% travel reimbursement paid in addition to hourly rate
• 12-hour shifts; day, night, and weekend shifts available

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Emergency Medicine training and direct ED experience
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one prior to start
• DEA registration and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications as required by the facility
• Ability to meet facility credentialing and scheduling requirements
