PRN Attending Physician - Hospitalist for Skilled Nursing (Flexible Schedule, No Call)

Provide medical oversight and direct patient care for residents in skilled nursing facilities in Andover, MA. Work within a collaborative team model alongside Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage acute and chronic conditions, develop individualized care plans, and support quality initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Attending Physician for assigned facility residents.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide clinical oversight and collaborative care with NPs/PAs.
• Participate in Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care Management, Remote Patient Monitoring, and other quality improvement programs.
• Complete timely documentation and communicate effectively with facility staff, patients, and families.

Schedule and workload

• PRN role with flexible scheduling; no fixed start/end times.
• No on-call or overnight responsibilities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or Emergency Medicine.
