Hospitalist NP/PA - Skilled Nursing Care in Baxter Springs, KS | Flexible Schedules, No Nights or Call

We’re expanding our team of clinicians who provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing facilities around Baxter Springs, Kansas. If you’re a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who enjoys working with older adults in a collaborative, team-based setting, we’d love to talk with you.

What the role looks like

• Full-time and PRN opportunities with flexible schedules.
• Full-time shifts are six hours, with rounds typically starting between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No on-call or overnight responsibilities.
• You’ll conduct daily rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, and prescribe medications and treatment plans.
• Documentation is efficient: we use a streamlined EHR with AI scribe support, voice dictation, and provide an iPad with LTE.
• Clinical resources like UpToDate® are available for real-time guidance.

Who we’re looking for

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Board certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, AACN, or NCCPA).
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care is preferred.
