Hospitalist NP/PA - Skilled Nursing, Flexible 6-hr Shifts, No Nights/Call, Strong Pay & Benefits

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing and post-acute facilities in Lacon, IL. Work in a collaborative, team-based environment focused on improving the health and quality of life of older adults.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds and assessments for skilled nursing residents
• Manage acute and chronic conditions; develop and adjust treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and coordinate transitions of care
• Document patient encounters using EHR with AI Scribe and voice dictation
• Communicate with facility staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Schedule and Workload

• Full-time positions available with flexible scheduling
• Typical shifts are six hours; rounds begin between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No overnight shifts and no on-call responsibilities

Technology and Support

• Company-provided iPad with LTE and lab coat

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
• National certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, AACN, or NCCPA)
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care preferred
