Medical Director / Attending Physician - Hospitalist, Skilled Nursing Facilities (Grayling, MI)

We’re looking for a compassionate and collaborative Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care across skilled nursing facilities in Grayling, Michigan. This full-time role blends clinical care and leadership, partnering closely with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage post-acute and long-term care patients. You’ll have the chance to shape patient care, support an experienced team, and enjoy a schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.

What the role looks like

• Full-time position covering local skilled nursing facilities, typically 1-2 days per week at each location
• No fixed start or end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities
• Average daily workload of about 18-25 visits
• Work collaboratively with APPs while providing clinical oversight and direction
• Company-provided iPad with LTE to streamline documentation and communication
• Open to new graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
• A commitment to delivering patient-centered, compassionate care
