Lead Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Site Clinical Lead (Augusta, ME)

We’re looking for a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Augusta, ME team as the Lead Provider. This role is ideal for an experienced APP who loves patient-centered care and is excited to lead, mentor, and support a busy urgent care clinic.

What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.
• Serve as the clinical leader on-site, supporting and supervising clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent patient care.
• Mentor and precept new graduates and allied health professionals, helping build clinical confidence and competence.
• Promote best practices and uphold clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Help maintain a collaborative team culture focused on excellent patient outcomes and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Certification from a recognized NP or PA certifying body.
• Active Maine license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Unrestricted DEA license (must be obtained and maintained).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is strongly preferred.
• Leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus.

• Hourly pay: $80.00 - $85.00.
