Lead Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Site Clinical Lead (Waterville, ME)

We’re looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Waterville, ME urgent care team as the site’s Lead Provider. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced APP who loves delivering patient-centered care, guiding clinical staff, and helping shape a positive, efficient urgent care environment.

What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive urgent care for patients of all ages.
• Serve as the clinical leader for on-site staff, setting and modeling high standards of care.
• Mentor and support new graduate NPs/PAs and other allied healthcare professionals.
• Promote evidence-based practice and maintain clinical quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical protocols and help drive continuous improvement.

Who we’re looking for

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Certification from a recognized NP or PA certifying body.
• Active Maine license or eligibility for Maine licensure.
• Unrestricted DEA license (must have and maintain).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is strongly preferred.
• Leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus.

• Hourly pay: $80.00-$85.00.
