Lead Urgent Care NP/PA - Clinical Lead Role in Bangor, ME | $80-$85/hr, Benefits & Mentorship

We’re looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Bangor, ME urgent care team as the site’s Lead Provider. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced APP who loves delivering high-quality, patient-focused care and enjoys mentoring clinicians in a busy urgent care environment.

What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages across a varied case mix.
• Serve as the clinical leader on site - setting and maintaining high standards for patient care, safety, and clinical workflow.
• Mentor and support new graduate NPs/PAs and other clinical staff, including precepting and informal teaching.
• Promote evidence-based practice and help ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a collaborative, efficient team culture that prioritizes excellent patient outcomes.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program and certification by an appropriate certifying body.
• Active Maine license, or eligibility to obtain one, and an unrestricted DEA registration.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus.
