Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Behavioral Health, Boston MA

Position summary
Seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide outpatient psychiatric care as part of a growing behavioral health team. The clinician will deliver medication management, diagnostic assessment, and collaborative, patient-centered treatment.

Primary responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and ongoing follow-up care for a broad range of mental health conditions.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, primary care, and other team members.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and medication adherence.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or PA-C with psychiatry experience.
• Preferred: 1-2 years clinical experience in psychiatry or behavioral health.
• Strong diagnostic, medication management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
