Job Description
Board-certified Gastroenterologist needed for a locum tenens assignment in Bay City, MI. Weekday coverage with overnight call Monday-Thursday; no weekend call.
Schedule and call
- Coverage: Monday 7:00 AM through Friday 7:00 PM
- On-call: Monday-Thursday nights
- Weekend call: none
Core responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adults with gastrointestinal disorders
- Provide inpatient and outpatient GI consultations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures as appropriate
- Manage patient care during overnight call coverage
- Coordinate care with physicians and allied health professionals
- Complete accurate, timely medical documentation
Requirements
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Active Michigan medical license
- Active DEA registration
