Locums CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) - Flint, MI (10-12 hr Shifts, Weekend Coverage)

Join a busy Flint, Michigan hospital as a Locum CRNA providing comprehensive anesthesia care for adult surgical patients. This role operates under physician supervision in a high-volume OR environment and offers flexible scheduling with 10- and 12-hour shifts. Pediatric and pain-management cases are excluded.

Schedule & facility

• 2-3 shifts per week; 10- and 12-hour shifts
• Weekend coverage required; no on-call duties
• 16 operating rooms, ~35 surgical cases per day
• EMR: Cerner

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and review medical histories
• Develop and implement anesthesia plans under physician supervision
• Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures; manage airway and vital signs
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery
• Collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing, and perioperative staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols

Required qualifications

• Active Michigan CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• AANA membership or fulfillment of applicable credentialing requirements
