Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician - Midland/Alpena, MI (Weekday Clinic & Procedural Coverage)

Join a supportive team in Midland, Michigan to provide clinic and procedural OB/GYN coverage with a predictable weekday schedule and manageable patient volume.

Schedule and Volume

• Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM-4:30 PM; Friday: 7:30 AM-12:00 PM
• Clinic volume: ~2 patients per hour (varies by appointment type)

Clinical Team and Support

• Three nurses per shift
• Midwife available beginning in September to assist with call coverage

Clinical Responsibilities and Procedures

• Deliver comprehensive OB/GYN care, including:
  • Suction D&C
  • Laparoscopy
  • Non-stress test (NST) interpretation
  • Cesarean sections
  • Circumcisions
  • Tubal ligations

Systems and Documentation

• EMR: Epic; dictation: Dragon

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Recent case log demonstrating:
  • ≥50 deliveries in the past 12 months
  • ≥25 GYN procedures in the past 12 months
• Michigan license preferred; candidates using the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) will be considered
