Locums Urgent Care NP/PA - $90/hr, Flexible Monday/Friday Coverage in Torrington (Local Preferred)

Locum Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Torrington, CT

Compensation: $90/hour

Schedule:

• Coverage primarily needed on Mondays and Fridays
• Providers will split shifts between two nearby clinic sites during the day
• Must be available for last-minute schedule changes and flexible site assignments
• Preference for local candidates able to travel to site(s) within ~45 minutes

Core responsibilities:

• Provide walk-in urgent care for patients of all ages (pediatrics through geriatrics)
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries
• Perform physical exams, interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans
• Perform urgent care procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, incision & drainage)
• Prescribe medications per scope of practice and clinic protocols
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Requirements:

• Active Connecticut NP or PA license
• Prior urgent care or emergency experience preferred
• Comfortable treating all age groups and performing common urgent care procedures
• Able and willing to travel between two clinic locations during a shift (up to ~45 minutes)
• Flexible with schedule changes and site assignments
