General Surgeon - Sonora, CA (Community Hospital; $3,000/Shift)

Join a collaborative surgical team in Sonora, CA, where you’ll deliver comprehensive, community-based surgical care alongside a multidisciplinary group of physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff. This role blends hands-on operative work with outpatient and inpatient management, consultation, and participation in quality and safety initiatives.

Compensation: $3,000 per shift

What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients who need surgical care.
• Perform a variety of general surgical procedures and provide pre- and postoperative care.
• See consults, develop treatment plans, and manage both inpatient and outpatient surgical patients.
• Respond to surgical emergencies as required.
• Work closely with colleagues across disciplines to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety efforts.

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Eligible for - or able to obtain - a California medical license.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
