Remote Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Acute Stroke & Inpatient Consults (Remote)

Seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurology physicians for a fully remote locum tele-neurology role supporting hospitals and EDs across multiple states. Flexible scheduling with ongoing need—suitable for supplemental work or long-term telemedicine practice. Physicians provide real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, via a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Compensation and engagement

• Locum telemedicine; long-term assignments available
• Salary: $210,000–$220,000 (annual)
• Flexible full- and part-time schedules; day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Credentialing and licensing support; additional state licenses paid as needed

Core responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultations to emergency department and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop treatment plans
• Document encounters in the EMR

Minimum qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Active U.S. medical license required
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely

Preferred

• Stroke experience; vascular neurology subspecialty a plus
• Multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Candidates with existing licenses in FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA are preferred
